Family Update

So we have made it half way through 2009, and things have been pretty good so far. Business is picking up and Chris and I are a very happy husband and wife. The Children are growing so much. Crislen is preparing for Preschool at Kenilworth in the fall. Payton will be joining her in his K3 class. Annabelle is talking and learning new words every day. She marches to the beat of her own drum. Currently I am writing this from a hospital room at All Children Hospital, Crislen is here for complication connected to the kidney stone we discovered back in May. Being over here has made me so thankful for the time I have with my children. We also have two new additions to our family, Little Man and Kiki our new bunnies.

Broken Camera

I am having trouble with my camera, and am going to have to send it back to Kodak to have it fixed. I hope to have it back by Crislen's birthday. I will try to use my old camera to post pics from the pumpkin patch and halloween.

Slip n Slide with Daddy

Chris took the kids outside and they all had a blast. Everyone participated in the slip n slide including daddy, but he mostly helped them get down to the end.

Its Football Season Again

In our house we have a very healthy love of football and a rivalry between myself and Chris. We are both originally from Alabama and love teams from the state, just different teams. Me, I am an Auburn fan to the core. My husband, borderline need therapy for his love of the University of Alabama. They play each other every year in November in what is called the iron bowl. I am an equal opportunity fan, unlike Chris, I will pull for Alabama as long as they are not playing Auburn. I buy both teams merchandise for the kids, which you can see in the pictures.

Back to the Grind

Well,
sadly summer is over and it is back to the grind for myself and the family. I am very excited to be back in college this semester. The kids are now at home with me full time and I am no longer employed by the day care. Thankfully it was a nice split as Chris and I decided the money wasn't good enough for the time I was away. Our finances are looking a little better but the winter season always seems to bring less work so we shall see how things go from here. Our Summer was awesome! We seemed to grow closer as a family and were able to spend some really great time together. We are super excited for the events of the next few months. Next week Chris and I will be boarding a boat in Miami and heading to Mexico on a week long cruise. The girls are heading to north Florida for a week with Nini. Foot ball is back and that brings excitement to every weekend. Chris and I have a healthy rivalry that we like to keep going each year. I am an Auburn University fan and he pulls for the University of Alabama, if anyone isn't familiar with these teams they are huge rivals. October will hopefully bring some cooler weather and more family fun with candy and costumes at the end of the month. November is a huge month for us. Crislen is turning four and we are going to Disney for the first time. The middle of the month brings an eleven year (since we started dating) anniversary for Chris and I. Of course we always look forward to Thanksgiving, we are headed to Tallahassee this year. December is my favorite month for obvious reasons. Our schedule is going to be full but the end of 2008 will be a good one so far.

Two days without Daddy

The kids and I are having fun spending some good time together while Chris is away in Orlando taking his Residential Contractors Test. We all hope he is doing a good job. That test is very grueling. I took the General Contractors test last year at eight months pregnant, not so much fun. It is four five hour sessions over two days of more multiple choice than I ever care to see again in my life. He will be home late Wednesday night, with great news I hope!

I have the pictures and videos from the recital but I have not had a chance to put them up because Chris took the laptop with him and thats the computer that they are on. I will try to get them up sometime Thursday.

More of boo walking

She made great strides this weekend, literally. She gained her bravery and is now walking just as much as she crawls.

Family bowling night

We took Crislen bowling for the first time tonight. Also with us were Erielle, Scott, and Kyler. We had such a blast. She did pretty well. Chris and I both had great games. I bowled a 159!!! Beat Chris both games. Enjoy the pictures
