a day of recharging

So today was a day of recharging for me. I went to MOPS this morning, which was absolutely needed for me at this point, and I had an amazing time. The speaker really sparked my thinking about how much fun I have with my kids. I realized today that I let little things bother me to much. My kids are worthy of playful fun parents who are memorable for more than just disciplining them. I mean don't get me wrong, we do fun things, but not enough at all. Instead of once a week I am shooting for several times a week and definitely every weekend. They deserve to get to be creative, make a mess, and explore. So, to kick off the fun I set up the tent in the back yard so they could play fort. My plan for this weekend is to take the kids on a walk and let Crislen ride her bike, she just learned how. After my MOPS and reflecting I had an awesome chance to take a nap and recharge my body. I have been having head aches for quite sometime now that the doctor thinks are caused by stress, so to be able to get a good uninterrupted nap in the middle of the day was awesome. So I am finishing my night now with a glorious sigh as i sink into bed. My wish for everyone tonight is that you all have a wonderful day tomorrow, because I know I am. Goodnight All!

A sigh of relief day and a celebration

Today gave me a very large sigh of relief. I have been having difficulties for quite some time with getting Annabell to eat solid foods. Both Crislen and Payton were eating solids regularly by three month old, Annabelle just hit the seven month mark and she really isn't into the solid foods. Thankfully today she finished her first full jar of food, sweet potatoes, for dinner.

Also today was our wedding anniversary, four years married! We thankfully were able to have an awesome dinner together. Unfortunately we are both just dead tired tonight, but at least we were able to do something. Chris has been working in Wauchula and was not supposed to have been home today until after 7pm. Due to a few complications on the job he was able to make it home by 5:30pm. At first I was bummed only because all the plans I had originally made I scrapped when I thought he wasn't going to be here, but we always seem to make things work out in the end. I look forward to many amazing more years with the love of my life!

New to this Blogging thing

Hello and welcome to my new blog. I have started this blog so that my friends and family have a way to keep up with the happenings of my family.

Chris and Myself- We are doing as well as we can, trying not to let the down turned economy hurt our family to much. Work has been a little slow, but we have firm faith that God will provide for our needs.

Crislen- She is getting to be such a big girl. She is taking dance and gymnastics on Tuesdays and realy seems to love it a lot. She is very much a do it yourself girl and she loves helping me in the kitchen.

Payton- He is talking up a storm, 90% of which is a whole separate language that none of the natural world speaks, he is slowly becoming more communicative. He has had his first hair cut now and really need another one, haha. He loves to be outside and has taken over Crislen's Jeep, I'm glad someone is using it.

Annabelle- My little miss is trying her hardest to get around as qickly as possible. She would Definitely get up and walk if she could. She has become an attention hog, and doesn't like it if shes not the center of attention. FYI- She turned 7 months old today.
